When Alan lived in Banbury he encountered a reference to a strange
phenomenon near Kings Sutton in 1872. Shortly afterwards Alan researched this event in the Banbury Library and came
up with various entries which were subsequently published in The Crop Watcher.
Paul Fuller, the editor of the Crop Watcher has since compiled these Banbury Guardian entries in his collection
of Ted Phillip's Physical Trace Catalogue. A link is included below where you can find the newspaper articles which
Alan had researched (Case 014, December 7th, 1872).
